Janitor

This janitorial position is for a detail-orientated, flexible, and willing person who is ready to take on a non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, showroom, bathrooms, kitchen and dining room, public areas, and the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building, including both the warehouse and the office, as directed.
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space, and parking lot.
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up.
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped.
• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of previous janitorial experience.
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
• Self-motivation and the ability to multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Punctuality & reliability are a must.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 49 lbs.
• Stand and walk, as well as push, pull, squat, bend and reach frequently during the shift.
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks and other apparatus to move items around the facility.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous experience using a walk behind battery operated floor scrubber preferred. Willing to train.

Hours:

Monday – Friday

7:00am – 3:30pm
