Key Responsibilities
- Apply accounting principles to analyze financial data and prepare/post journal entries.
- Maintain and oversee control of accounts related to disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income.
- Perform account reconciliations, research variances, and record corrections as needed.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare reports, verify accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare intercompany billing statements and respond to related inquiries.
- Document accounting policies and procedures for internal reference and consistency.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
- Lead ad hoc special projects independently as assigned by Accounting Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong computer and system aptitude, SAP a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- High sense of urgency with a customer service mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information.
