SDET-NO C2C LOCAL Only

Johnson Service Group is looking for a Senior Level Test Automation Engineers (SDET) to work on-site with our client with locations in Alameda, CA and Milpitas, CA. In this position, you will test applications and work collaboratively with the development team to ensure the delivery of quality products in an efficient, timely manner. The successful candidate will work within the client’s high-performance development team that is developing world-class products in patient healthcare.

The successful candidate will have a combination of strong functional test knowledge and methodology with hands on test automation experience using latest technologies. Ability to multitask, be fluent with Agile Methodology, ability to work independently on features /releases, and experience in participating in multi-layer SW development projects from a test verification perspective is key to success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Execute SQA/Test methodologies, test documentation and practices. White and black-box testing and test automation scripting. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Create test strategies and test suites. Design, develop and execute test protocols. Implementation of test tools and processes as required.
• Create test automation scripts using Python, Java and other coding may also be required.
• Run tests of applications implemented on mobile (iOS and Android), web and cloud platforms.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects. During testing, analyze defects in order to assure quality and improve products.
• Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved.
• Ensure the test process and documentation conforms to client’s internal requirements.
• Work with the development team to assess technical risks, assist with technical problem solving.
• Requirements and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of solid software testing practices, methodologies and techniques. Strong knowledge of SQA principles and design control practices. Experience working in an Agile Development process.
• Must have Senior Level Python experience, Java and other coding experience is a plus.
• Evidence of continuing education, such as technical certifications, a plus.
• Prior experience working in an FDA regulated environment/ testing medical devices is a plus.
• Experience working with BLE/ Bluetooth interfaces is a plus.
• Must have a high level of attention to detail and technical specifications.
• Must have experience testing localization/ multi-language applications.
• Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline driven environment. Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
• Must work on-site at one of the client’s facilities (Alameda, CA, Milpitas, CA and Portland, OR).
