Onsite | Hourly pay rate is $34-$36 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing a multi-state weekly payroll for up to 1,000 employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state wage/tax laws, including FLSA, overtime, and meal/rest break regulations.
- Audit timecards, wage rates, deductions, and benefit rates to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, new hire data, and compensation updates.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, HR, and management in a professional manner.
- Generate payroll reports for upper management.
- 2-3 years of payroll experience.
- Proven experience as a payroll specialist with high-volume payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of federal and state wage/tax laws, FLSA, and prevailing wage regulations.
- Solid accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
- Proficient in MS Office and payroll/timekeeping software, UKG a plus.
- Experience working with DIR and LCP Tracker a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s in Business, Accounting, or related field a plus.
