Marketing Intern

Johnson Service Group is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing. The ideal candidate will assist with blog writing, social media content creation, and graphic design. You will work closely with the marketing team to support our brand’s online presence and engagement.

This will be a part-time, paid internship. It will be paying $18/hr.

Responsibilities:

Copywriting:

• Write, edit, and publish engaging blog posts on various topics related to our industry.
• Research relevant topics to create informative and original content.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new blog ideas and campaigns.
• Optimize content for SEO to increase web traffic.
• Creating internal and contract employees monthly newsletter.

Social Media Content Creation:

• Develop creative and engaging social media posts for platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Plan and schedule content to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
• Monitor and respond to social media engagement, comments, and messages.
• Assist in analyzing social media performance and suggest improvements.
• Managing and maintaining paid ads.

Graphic Design:

• Create eye-catching graphics for social media posts, blogs, and marketing campaigns.
• Work with marketing team members to design visual content that aligns with brand identity.
• Assist in developing promotional materials, such as banners, infographics, and other marketing collateral.
• Stay updated with design trends to produce relevant and appealing content.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
