JSG is hiring an HR Generalist - must have Workday experience for our client in Twinsburg, OH. This is a 3 months contract opportunity with 100% onsite.

- Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries and provide timely resolution or escalation.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process, including I-9 verification, background checks, and new hire orientation.
- Maintain and update employee records in Workday, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Generate and distribute HR reports, metrics, and dashboards from Workday as needed.
- Assist in the coordination of employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Support HR process improvement initiatives and participate in cross-functional projects.
- 2 years of experience in a human resources support role, preferably within manufacturing or aerospace.
- Hands-on experience with Workday (HRIS); comfortable navigating, updating, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
