- Lead technical crews of 2-8 specialists through complex transformer installation and maintenance projects.
- Execute comprehensive electrical testing including power factor analysis, winding resistance, and SFRA diagnostics.
- Serve as primary customer liaison and technical advisor during critical field operations.
- Optimize project workflows by strategically assigning tasks based on team strengths and site conditions.
- Manage high-voltage equipment ranging from distribution transformers to transmission-level apparatus.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on mission-critical power infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and implement innovative solutions.
- Mentor junior technicians while promoting continuous safety excellence across all operations.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Associate degree/ two-year technical diploma and a minimum of 5 years of transformer service experience; OR, High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 7 years of transformer service experience. Supervisory experience a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of transformer field service operations and electrical testing procedures
- Expertise in transformer installation, vacuum/oil processing, and internal component assembly
- Valid driver's license with flexibility to travel up to 85% throughout assigned territory
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities and leadership experience in field environments
- Proven track record working safely around high-voltage electrical equipment
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work in the United States
