Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required
- 3-5 years of hands-on cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GAAP is required
- Hands on experience in financial closings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well versed in analyzing vast data utilizing Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with OneStream and Microsoft Navision is preferred
- Timely and accurate financial reporting and forecasting
- Performs month-end closing, forecasting, and reporting. Analyzes variance to budget and forecast.
- Performs daily review and reporting of inventory and labor activity
- Supports maintenance, review, and updates of standard costs
- Guides manufacturing in performing routine cycle counting activity and audits results
- Provides actionable analysis to identify and reduce Job Order Variances
- Makes assessments and recommendations based on review and analysis of variances to standards
- Leads quarterly slow or non-moving inventory (E&O) process
- Influences across multiple functional dimensions and communicates and educates management and staff level personnel on financial expectations; audits adherence to expectations
- Supports the business with analysis of profitability overall and by relevant business segments
- Resolves problems in an expeditious fashion
- Assist in annual budgeting process
- Support with ad-hoc projects and financial reporting.
