CNC Machinist - 2nd shift

JSG is hiring a CNC Machinist - 2nd shift in Melbourne, FL!

Pay rate: $25-$35 DOE

Skills

• 3-5 years of machining experience
• Demonstrate good print reading skills and an understanding of GD&T
• Ability to read and write basic G & M codes, tool offsets and work offsets, spindle speeds and feed rates
• Must be able to use calipers and micrometers and other measuring equipment
• Ability to produce parts in Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium
• Producing small machine parts using machine controls to program, setup and operate CNC mills
• Maintaining high quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and needed supplies
• Reduce cost and improve on time delivery for existing products and work with the quality department to support the Quality System collaborate with your supervisor and other departments and co-workers shorten cycle time or improve the process
• Plan the work day by studying work orders, drawing specifications, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances
• Adhering to procedures in accordance with the ISO and AS9100 Quality Systems
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions and reporting such irregularities for repairs
