- Oversee the full client lifecycle across Los Angeles County, with responsibility for promoting the firm’s complete suite of services, regardless of internal structure.
- Drive significant new business growth, lead key client teams, coordinate cross-functional business development efforts, and analyze market trends.
- Ensure an exceptional client experience by building and maintaining deep, lasting relationships.
- Monitor and assess project manager performance on key accounts, including conducting client feedback surveys where applicable.
- Provide coaching and feedback to project managers to align with client expectations and intervene when performance issues arise.
- Support project recovery efforts and assist with collections as needed.
- Make pursuit decisions (go/no-go), select teaming partners, and determine pursuit staffing strategies.
- Own overall client profitability, contract terms, revenue forecasting, and sales performance.
- Act as a pursuit lead and project manager/director for land development projects.
- Lead successful project execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget while maintaining high quality standards.
- Guide and mentor project teams, providing technical and design leadership across all project phases.
- Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of engineering deliverables in alignment with quality standards.
- Collaborate with group leadership to manage staffing and meet both current and future project demands.
- Support employee development initiatives and provide mentorship for career growth opportunities.
- Contribute to key performance indicators such as sales, backlog, utilization, profitability, client satisfaction, and team engagement.
- Ensure compliance with firmwide tools, processes, and policies including budgeting, contracting, project accounting, and quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in land development projects (residential, commercial, industrial, K–12, parks, or public infrastructure).
- 5 years of direct experience in a business development role, working with local developers and public agencies.
