Cost Manager

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Cost Manager who has a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant (energy/utilities) experience. This is a contract to potential direct hire opportunity with one of the world’s most respected design, engineering, and project management consultancies and will be located Atlanta GA.

MUST be local as the role is on-site in midtown Atlanta, 4 days, Monday – Thursday. Fridays are remote.

Pay $60/hour

Responsibilities

• Gathers, logs and summarizes project data to be used in technical studies or project performance reviews.
• Prepares accruals, project forecasts, and variance explanations.
• Reviews all change orders in accordance with the client's' approval process.
• Develops payment applications and reviews and facilitates the approval of project invoices.
• Develops cost profiles.
• Assists with the annual budgeting process.
• Coordinates with vendors and discipline leads to collect progress data.
  
  

Eductaion

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of project controls experience with a focus in cost control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly articulate and have a clear and analytical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
