Salary Information: Salary will be based on experience, with an hourly range of $32.00–$35.00. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, with no more than 8 hours per week. Special Qualities & Characteristics • Practicing Catholic who is passionate for the mission of JSerra (i.e. the integral formation of students’ faith, intellect, and character) • Deep appreciation for the Catholic faith and a commitment to the teachings of the Church • Strong initiative and desire to work in a highly collaborative environment • Superior rapport with parents, students, and staff Description: The Junior Varsity Assistant Cheer Coach is responsible for planning and leading structured practices while ensuring the safety of participants through proper instruction in tumbling and stunting. This individual serves as a positive role model for student-athletes and supports their overall development. Responsibilities • Plan and lead practices in coordination with the Head Cheer Coach • Supervise athletes during practices, games, and school events • Choreograph, teach, and refine cheer routines • Instruct and monitor stunting and tumbling techniques with an emphasis on safety • Attend summer camp and support program development activities • Maintain consistent communication with the Head Cheer Coach, Pep Squad Advisor, and parents • Promote a positive image of the cheer program within the school and community

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills • Is highly organized, innovative and able to inspire others in their life of faith • Has the capacity to articulate and explain faith practices to high school students Education & Experience • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred • 2-3 years of cheerleading and/or coaching experience
