Role Summary
The Program Manager – Delivery will oversee end-to-end delivery operations across multiple projects, clients, and teams. This senior leadership role is responsible for strategic planning, workforce management, operational excellence, and ensuring seamless project execution. The role requires strong delivery governance, people leadership, and cross-functional coordination to meet customer expectations, optimize resources, and drive profitable delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Management & Governance
- Lead and govern the delivery of multiple high-impact programs across regions.
- Define delivery strategies, frameworks, and execution plans aligned with business goals.
- Ensure projects meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
- Conduct periodic reviews, track milestones, and drive corrective actions for at-risk projects.
- Oversee compliance with client standards, internal processes, and documentation protocols.
- Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational challenges.
Resource & Workforce Management
- Forecast manpower needs and ensure timely staffing for new and ongoing programs.
- Optimize resource allocation across delivery teams for maximum productivity.
- Oversee onboarding, deployment, and readiness of project teams.
- Maintain a pre-qualified talent pool to support rapid scaling for new client requirements.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership on delivery performance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Present delivery reports, operational metrics, weekly status, and improvement plans.
- Identify opportunities for scope expansion or new business through strong delivery execution.
Operations & Performance Management
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement performance measurement frameworks and KPIs across delivery teams.
- Monitor project budgets, cost controls, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations, safety norms, and organizational policies.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead large cross-functional teams and build high-performance delivery culture.
- Mentor managers, leads, and teams to enhance capability and succession readiness.
- Oversee performance reviews, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
- Promote collaboration between HR, Operations, and Business teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong program management and delivery leadership experience.
- Excellent communication, client management, and executive-level stakeholder handling.
- Proven experience leading large teams across multiple geographies.
- Expertise in operational governance, resource planning, and performance tracking.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS platforms, and project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana).
