QC/Sanitation Supervisor
The Sanitation & Quality Control Supervisor oversees sanitation operations and quality control activities to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, and company standards. This role supervises sanitation and QC staff, ensures proper cleaning, inspections, documentation, and training, and supports overall food safety and regulatory compliance across the facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule sanitation and QC staff to ensure effective facility cleaning and line coverage.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, SOP, and SSOP requirements.
- Conduct plant, pre-operational, raw material, and internal inspections.
- Train employees on sanitation procedures, GMPs, food safety, and chemical handling.
- Maintain sanitation, QC, and inspection documentation and records.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, QA, and Technical teams.
- Implement corrective actions, product specifications, and quality initiatives.
- Support audits, environmental monitoring, mock recalls, and calibration activities.
- Provide coverage for QC Technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Food manufacturing experience required.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, and SSOPs.
- Previous QC and supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and basic computer skills.
Language
Spanish and English is a plus
