Join us as a Lead Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in JR Automation's Service and Support division located Holland, MI as we work together to bring innovative automation solutions to life.

This is a Full Time and on-site position located in Holland, Michigan.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Actively oversee and participate in the movement of materials into, within, and out of the facility to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
• Coordinate truckload freight arrangements by developing freight requirements, requesting quotes from approved carriers, analyzing carrier proposals, and scheduling loads.
• Partner with Purchasing to create and manage freight-related purchase orders.
• Support and assist Shipping and Receiving and other JR team members in resolving logistics-related issues.
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to S/R Specialists and other Leads on job responsibilities, procedures, and best practices.
• Mentor logistics team members while modeling positive behavior, professionalism, and a strong team-focused attitude.
• Participate in and promote Lean and Six Sigma initiatives related to Shipping and Receiving.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, accuracy, and throughput.
• Safely operate overhead cranes, hi-lo (forklift) equipment, and other material handling equipment as required.
• Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
  
  

Serve As The Team's SME In The Following Areas

• Truckload freight arrangements
• International shipping
• Material handling equipment usage and safety
• Logistics process knowledge and troubleshooting

What You'll Bring

• 3 years in a business environment; 2 or more years of logistics, materials management, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to obtain a Hi-Lo (Forklift) and Overhead Crane license while employed at JR
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis as part of daily job duties.
