Job Summary: The Laundry Tech Lead is responsible for the daily coordination of laundry processing and distribution activity.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:
- Performs clean linen processing according to defines standards.
- Assists supervisor with overseeing clean processing and distribution.
- Assists supervisor with overseeing soiled linen and storage.
- Works with third party vendor on rejected linen and quantity needs.
- Orders additional linen to replace lost and damaged linens.
- Ensures clean linen supply area is organized to improve efficiencies.
- Ensures compliance with infection control policies.
- Works with Supervisor to ensure that all team members of linen department are properly trained.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with departmental infection control practices according to departmental procedures.
- Monitors safety standards and ensures compliance with departmental procedures.
