This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with prior banking or financial services experience, capable of driving front-end architecture and setting engineering best practices in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Define front-end architecture, UI standards, and performance best practices for enterprise-grade applications.
- Collaborate closely with product, backend, UX, security, and cloud teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
- Drive projects from concept and architectural design through production deployment and ongoing enhancements.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, accessibility, performance, and security, particularly in regulated financial environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across front-end initiatives.
- Integrate front-end applications with cloud services on AWS or Azure.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Git-based version control systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of professional front-end development experience.
- Strong expertise in React and modern front-end technologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred).
- Prior experience in banking or financial services environments.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading front-end architecture for large-scale, enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
