Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities
- Collaborates with the CHRO to develop and implement system-wide HR strategies, focusing on attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining high-quality talent across clinical and operational functions.
- Promotes a culture that aligns with organizational values, with emphasis and a commitment to exceptional patient care and operational excellence.
- Serves as a strategic advisor in advancing workforce initiatives that support organizational growth, compliance, and resilience.
- Provides strategic oversight in the design and delivery of HR programs across all HR functions in alignment with JPS Health Network's overall HR strategy and business objectives.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to define, prioritize, and implement HR programs and ensures alignment of the organization's HR agenda with the overall JPS HR delivery model.
- Leads the development and execution of targeted HR initiatives that impact human capital costs, employee engagement, retention, competitive rewards, and other key performance indicators through the tracking, trending, and analysis of people data.
- Leads effective and timely communication to leadership and employees on significant, relevant changes in HR policies and practices.
- Drives continuous HR process improvement, including assessing, evaluating, and recommending HR models, best practices, tools, and technologies that standardize, automate, and optimize JPS HR processes.
- Keeps leadership informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of organizational goals, and those that are not being addressed adequately within the organization.
- Collaborates with senior leaders to implement targeted HR interventions that address organizational challenges and integrates the employment brand across all initiatives. Ensures operational excellence by evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of HR programs.
- Advises the CHRO on organizational barriers, providing strategic insights to enhance operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Leads HR organizational change initiatives by communicating effectively, engaging stakeholders, and mitigating resistance. Supports managers and employees through transitions such as new system implementations.
- Oversees department operating budgets on an annual basis and monitors areas of responsibility for compliance within the current budget.
- Provides input for Human Resources policy and procedure development and revisions. Implements policy revisions and/or new policies through a planned communication or education session. Ensures HR programs and practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements to minimize risk to the organization.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited University.
- 12 years of progressive human resources leadership experience.
- Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited University.
- 10 years of progressive human resources leadership experience.
- Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited University.
- Progressive human resources leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Professional Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), Global Professional Human Resources (GPHR), SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
