The Director of Human Resources for Data Center Services (DCS) is responsible for leading and overseeing HR operations across a geographically dispersed workforce supporting multiple customer and Arvato facilities throughout the United States.
The Director partners closely with the VP of Data Center Services to align workforce strategy with operational demands. A critical focus is executing recruiting strategies to meet labor needs and ensuring compensation is competitive across diverse labor markets.

YOUR TASKS
- Lead and manage a distributed team of HR professionals supporting multiple customer and Arvato locations across the U.S., including sites without dedicated on-site HR presence.
- Creates plans to ensure appropriate support to company strategies across recruiting, training, performance and employee development.
- Establishes HR accountabilities including talent acquisition, staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance and retention.
- Develop scalable HR service models for dispersed workforce.
- Partner with talent acquisition on development and execution of high-volume, market-responsive recruiting strategies.
- Ensure competitive compensation aligned with local labor markets.
- Monitor labor trends and turnover across customer environments.
- Lead performance management, talent assessment, succession planning and recognition programs.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures and processes are documented and consistently applied.
- Drive engagement strategies for workforce without local HR support. Analyzing employee feedback and improving retention.
- Support corporate HR projects and implementation across sites.
- Provide HR counsel on employee relations, investigations, compliance, compensation and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related area of focus is required.
- A minimum 10 years of total business experience with 7 years of applicable HR Business Partner or HR management experience.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness, including strong relationship building, team building and conflict management experience.
- Strong leadership experience managing HR teams and executing HR and talent acquisition strategies.
- Computer savvy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio), have excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills, and highly detail-oriented.
- Business knowledge and experience in driving organizational success through quality best practice HR programs and initiatives.
- Ability to educate and empower employees through supportive coaching.
- Solid knowledge of HR compliance requirements, including applicable laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of risk management, liability and Federal Labor Laws.
- Ability to work across multiple organizations; working closely with HR functions, General Counsel, senior leadership and other stakeholders.
