Job Description:
Acclaim Physician Group and JPS Health Network is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals to serve in an outpatient setting.
Behavioral Health services are designed around a collaborative multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatrically trained Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Social Workers, Peer Recovery Support Specialists, MH technicians, a Clinical Pharmacist, and nursing staff that are experienced and committed to excellent, highly collaborative care.
Duties:
- Oversees coordination of multidisciplinary care delivered to all patients to optimize quality patient care.
- Establishes diagnoses and utilizes measurement based care tools to determine and implement treatment plans.
- Provides care education to patients and families.
- Makes appropriate referrals as necessary to optimize care and outcomes.
- Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients to improve patient outcomes and maintain or increase patient satisfaction.
- Maintains a collaborative environment with other providers, clinic staff, outpatient clinic leaders and BH physician and APP leaders.
- Supports quality, academic, educational and research endeavors.
- Attends Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings; and is an active participant in the process.
- Monitors guidelines for the management of care and for ensuring that the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by JPS Health Network, Acclaim Physician Group, and applicable accreditation agencies.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:

Current Physician Assistant or APRN (PMHNP-C) license to practice as required by the State of Texas
- 2 years of outpatient Behavioral Health experience highly preferred.
