What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer (PE) position at JPJ Engineering?
JPJ Engineering is looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Hibbing or Duluth, MN office. The Civil Engineer will lead the project planning, design, and construction management phases of civil engineering projects including municipal projects and site development of residential and commercial sites and recreational areas. The Civil Engineer will review project plans and specifications to create redlines allowing technicians and project management assistants to finalize the bid packages. The Civil Engineer maintains contact with clients and other project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Required)
- Minnesota Professional Engineer License (PE) (Required)
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or other design software
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
Compensation
