What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer/EIT position at JPJ Engineering?
JPJ Engineering is looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Hibbing or Duluth, MN office. The Civil E.I.T. will gather technical data from various sources, complete necessary calculations, and work under the supervision of our Professional Engineers to prepare project designs, perform requested drawing revisions to finalize construction drawings, and provide construction management for civil engineering projects including site developments, roadways, residential and commercial sites, storm water design, water and sewer systems, sediment and erosion control plans and perform other civil engineering related tasks.
Qualifications
- Has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or other design software (preferred)
- Has or can promptly obtain EIT Certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
Compensation
