Job Title: Clinical TherapistLocation: La Plata, MDJob Type: Full-Time, SalarySchedule: Monday–Friday (8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm)Compensation: $65,000 to $95,000 (depending on experience)About the RoleA residential behavioral health treatment center in La Plata, MD is seeking a Clinical Therapist to support patients navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. This role is focused on providing evidence-based, person-centered therapy within a structured, supportive clinical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments of mental health, substance use, and readiness for treatment.Collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment goals and care plans.Provide therapeutic interventions that support recovery and behavior change.Educate patients and families on addiction, treatment options, and coping strategies.Partner with internal clinical and medical teams on coordinated care and aftercare planning.Identify barriers to recovery and help patients develop practical tools and skills.Refer patients to relevant community resources, including job services and support groups.Participate in outreach initiatives related to addiction awareness and prevention.Complete additional clinical tasks as needed.QualificationsMust hold valid Maryland licensure allowing practice in Drug & Alcohol Counseling:CAC-AD, CSC-AD, LGADC, LCADC, LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C(LCPC, LCADC, LCSW-C preferred)1–3 years of experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment.Knowledge of dual-diagnosis treatment and medically assisted treatment options.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Commitment to confidentiality, cultural competence, and excellent patient care.BenefitsPaid Time OffHolidays401(k)Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceTraining & Education Allowance
