Duties
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, food quality, and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Manage shift schedules, coordinate staff breaks, and ensure smooth shift transitions to maximize efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and oversee food preparation processes to uphold quality standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Spoton.
- Train new staff on food safety protocols, customer service techniques, and operational procedures
- Support management in analyzing profit and loss statements, budgeting, and implementing cost-control measures
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
- Demonstrated supervisory or assistant management experience within the hospitality or food industry
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and kitchen management practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage conflict resolution
- Experience with staff training, team development, and managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
- Strong understanding of restaurant management principles including shift management, food production, catering, bar service, and banquet operations
