Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent across JP Cullen’s corporate and project teams. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to develop proactive sourcing strategies, manage full-cycle recruiting, and continuously strengthen our employer brand. The ideal candidate is a hands-on recruiter with a strong sourcing background who thrives on building talent pipelines and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate full-cycle recruiting using a proactive, relationship-driven approach to attract, evaluate, and hire top talent
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, iCIMS, job boards, referrals, social media, and industry networks; build and maintain strong pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
- Track and report sourcing activity, metrics, hit rates, and hiring outcomes to hiring managers and leadership
- Review resumes, conduct candidate phone screens, coordinate and participate in interviews, manage assessments, and provide hiring recommendations
- Partner with hiring managers to position JP Cullen as an employer of choice and understand candidate decision drivers
- Prepare, write, and present offer letters in collaboration with hiring managers
- Ensure a high-quality, consistent candidate experience through clear and timely communication
- Partner with Marketing to support recruitment-focused social media strategies and employer branding efforts
- Represent JP Cullen by attending industry related networking events
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting and search firms
- Coordinate and participate in career fairs, campus recruiting events, and college presentations
- Post and maintain job descriptions within Applicant Tracking System – iCIMS
- Ensure all recruiting activities align with JP Cullen’s EEO/AA standards and hiring process
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Marketing, Communications or related degree and 4 years sourcing and recruiting experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, iCIMS, Indeed, etc.)
- Proven ability to source passive candidates and build long-term talent relationships
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, high-expectation environment
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for talent and people
