- BE ABLE TO PASS A DOT PHYSICAL, DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREEN, AND 7 YEAR BACKGROUND CHECK
- HAVE BASIC MECHANICAL SKILLS
- MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, AND ALBE TO TRAVEL AND WORK ALL DAYS AND TIMES. THE COMPANY OPERATES 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK.
- MUST FOLLOW DIRECTION FROM SUPERVISION
- MUST FOLLOW DIRECTION FROM CRANE OPERATOR
- AID IN ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY UNDER SUPERVISION OF CRANE OPERATOR
- HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF CRANE AND RIGGING CONSIDERATIONS (HITCHES, SHACKLES, LOAD ANGLES, LOAD WEIGHTS, CENTER OF GRAVITY, TAG LINE, ETC.)
- MUST BE ABLE TOBE ASSIGNED THE DESIGNATED SIGNALMAN TO HELP THE CRANE OPERATOR ATTACH, LIFT, MOVE, AND SET LOADS.
- MUST HAVE A VALID CLASS A CDL DRIVERS LICENSE, AND KEEP IT UP TO DATE
- AID IN CLEANLINESS AND HOUSEKEEPING ON JOB SITE AND MOBILE EQUIPMENT
- MUST HAVE BASIC KKNOWLEDGE OF ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY OF CRANE AND ALL COMPONENTS
- ATTACH LOAD LIFTING DEVICES TO CRANE AND TO LOAD IN A SAFE MANNER
- ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ALL INVOLVED BY UTILIZING SAFE PRACTICES
- MUST BE ABLE TO INSPECT PRE-TRIP ITEMS ON TRUCK AND TRAILER
- PERFORMING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
- WEARING REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT WHILE PERFORMING WORK
- MENTOR OTHER DRIVERS, CRANE HELPERS, ETC.
- DRIVE LONG DISTANCES TO DELIVER CRANE PARTS TO JOB SITE ON TIME
- LOAD AND UNLOAD CARGO
- REFUEL AND CLEAN VEHICLE
- REPORT ROAD INCIDENTS TO SAFETY
- FOLLOW TRAFFIC LAWS
- INSPECT TRUCK AND RECORD ISSUES
- FOLLOW ACCIDENT PROCEDURES
- KEEP AN ACTIVE LOG AND LOG HOURS
- REPORT MECHANICAL PROBLEMS TO MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL
- PLAN ROUTES USING GPS SYSTEM
- MAINTAIN POSITIVE ATTITIUDE WITH CUSTOMERS
- HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
