Joyce D Silverman Interiors Inc is looking for a talented AutoCAD Drafter/3D Renderer to join our creative team in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed AutoCAD floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings for residential and/or commercial interior design projects
- Create high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients
- Collaborate with interior designers to translate creative concepts into accurate technical documentation
- Revise and update drawings based on designer and client feedback
- Maintain organized project files and ensure drawing standards and accuracy across all deliverables
- Assist in the development of presentation materials including mood boards and design packages
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with 3D rendering software (3ds Max, SketchUp, V-Ray, or similar) strongly preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in drafting and/or 3D rendering, preferably in an interior design or architecture environment
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and construction documentation
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to produce precise, clean drawings
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred
