Prime Structure is a structural and concrete subcontractor working on projects in New York City. We are looking for a drafter with AutoCAD experience and a background in structural drawings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings for structural and concrete construction projects.
- Read structural plans, sections, details, and specifications.
- Update drawings from engineering comments and project-team markups.
- Check dimensions and details, flag conflicts, and keep drawing revisions organized.
- Coordinate drawing questions with the estimating and project teams.
Qualifications
- Hands-on AutoCAD experience producing structural drawings.
- Ability to read structural construction documents and produce accurate, clear drawings.
- Strong attention to dimensions, details, and revisions.
- Ability to communicate drawing questions and work to project deadlines.
- Experience with concrete construction and shop drawings is a plus.
