As we scale operations, we are seeking a strategic, hands‑on Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance across a fast‑paced, hygiene‑critical production environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in manufacturing, understands the complexity of nonwoven materials and liquid formulations, and can keep production running smoothly with zero interruptions.
About the Role
The Supply Chain Manager oversees the full supply chain lifecycle — from sourcing raw materials to ensuring finished goods ship on time. You will manage vendor relationships, optimize inventory levels, support production planning, and drive continuous improvement across procurement, warehousing, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end supply chain operations for wet wipe production
- Manage procurement of nonwovens, chemicals, packaging materials, and MRO supplies
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; negotiate pricing and contracts
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available to meet production schedules
- Collaborate with Production, QA, and Engineering to forecast demand and plan capacity
- Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and inventory accuracy
- Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and root‑cause analysis for variances
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and hygiene manufacturing standards
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, freight scheduling, and carrier performance
- Track KPIs including OTIF, inventory turns, supplier performance, and cost savings
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Support new product launches by coordinating materials and timelines
- Maintain ERP accuracy for materials, BOMs, lead times, and inventory transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of supply chain experience in manufacturing;
- Strong understanding of nonwoven materials, converting operations, and liquid dosing components
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Proven ability to forecast, plan, and manage inventory in a high‑speed production environment
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO, and hygiene manufacturing requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Background in chemical procurement or liquid formulation supply chains
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training
- Experience managing freight, 3PLs, or international suppliers
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to walk the production floor regularly
- Ability to lift up to 25–40 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and temperature variations
