Supply Chain Project Manager

Role Overview: Lead procurement execution and supplier project management for aerospace programs to ensure compliant, cost-effective, high-quality deliverables aligned with technical, regulatory, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with program objectives, cost targets, and certification needs.
• Manage supplier selection, contract negotiations, performance, and supply continuity to meet production goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to resolve procurement challenges.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and report metrics and risks to senior leadership.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least eight years of aerospace procurement or supply chain experience, managing complex programs.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, supplier ecosystems, negotiation, and contract management.
• Preferred certifications (e.g., PMP, CPIM), international logistics experience, and familiarity with aerospace regulations and systems like ERP/SAP.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment.
  
  

Decision-Making Expectations

• Recommend supplier selections, sourcing strategies, and contract terms considering technical, cost, and risk factors.
• Escalate and prioritize supplier issues impacting production or certification.
• Influence recovery plans, cost controls, and procurement tradeoffs with stakeholders.
  
  

Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with frequent interactions across manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams. May involve supplier site visits, domestic and international travel (~25%), occasional overtime, and schedule flexibility to support program milestones.
