We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site position located in rural Beckwourth, California (approximately 10 minutes from Portola, 30 minutes from Graeagle, and about 50 minutes from Reno).Please note that this is not a remote position.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable who enjoys working in a collaborative, small-business environment. We're looking for a team player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed and takes pride in supporting the success of the entire office. Because we are a small company, everyone occasionally assists with tasks outside their primary responsibilities to help keep the office running smoothly.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Process and enter accounts payable invoices into accounting software.
- Prepare and process accounts receivable invoices and customer payments.
- Verify invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
- Make copies, scan documents, and perform general office administrative tasks.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
- Assist with month-end accounting tasks as needed.
- Support other office and administrative duties as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
