What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Nanny Share position at Jovie of CA, WA, and MN?
Family Location: Wayzata and Mound
Summary:
A bit about us:
We are two families of three coming together for a nanny share for our infant babies, who also happen to be cousins, which makes this time even more special! Family is incredibly important to us, and we prioritize spending quality time together whenever we can. We love being outdoors and enjoying all of the beautiful seasons Minnesota has to offer. Health and wellness are also a big part of our lives, and we value staying active and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. As first-time parents, we are excited to welcome a wonderful nanny into our families who will provide loving, attentive care and grow alongside our children.
A bit about you:
We are seeking a mature and experienced caregiver who is confident and knowledgeable in all aspects of infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, sleep routines, and age-appropriate developmental play. You prioritize safety and wellness, are familiar with safe sleep practices, and hold current CPR and First Aid certifications. You lead with integrity, patience, and a loving, gentle spirit, and you demonstrate strong Christian values in your daily interactions. Reliability, punctuality, and clear, respectful communication with both families are essential. While driving will eventually be required, it is not expected during the first year. Our ideal candidate has at least 3–5 years of hands-on infant experience, whether through nannying, daycare work, or a similar early childhood role.
Job Duties:
Those who work with infants know that their routines evolve quickly, and we are looking for someone who can adapt with them and help maintain the schedule we have in place at the time of hire. Currently, both babies are following an eat–play–sleep rhythm, and we would appreciate your continued support of this structure. As they grow, we look forward to incorporating more developmental play, daily outdoor time, and simple sensory activities. During the first year, the babies will also begin transitioning to solid foods, and we would appreciate your support in introducing solids safely and thoughtfully.
Position Highlights: 36 guaranteed hours a week, and paid holidays
Qualifications: Patient, reliable, kind, and mature with at least 3-5 years of experience and CPR/First aid certification
Schedule: Starting January 5th for one family, 3 days a week between the days of Monday-Thursday from 7a-4p, and then both families starting March 16th, Monday-Thursday, from 7a-4p. Care will be at two different homes in the same area.
How to Apply: Apply Here; email emilie.hyatt@jovie.com or text "nanny" to 952-260-8906 to start the process!
Pay: For one child $26, when both children are present $33
