The Role
The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by building and expanding relationships with school administrators, teachers, and key influencers, effectively positioning and selling JoVE’s education products. This role requires a strong sales mindset, a passion for education, and the ability to quickly learn, articulate value, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets while growing long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue goals by driving new district partnerships.
- Generate qualified opportunities through targeted cold outreach to district-level decision-makers (e.g., Superintendents, Directors of Instruction, STEM Directors, Curriculum & Instruction leaders).
- Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and persuasive solution presentations that convert district prospects into active opportunities.
- Build, maintain, and advance a strong sales pipeline to ensure consistent progress toward quarterly targets and long-term growth.
- Represent JoVE at conferences, workshops, and industry events to expand district-level networks and generate new leads.
- Monitor and leverage market trends, competitor activities, and district needs to position JoVE’s video solutions as the preferred instructional resource.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the education technology industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage an audience
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using CRM software such as Salesforce
- Willingness to travel as needed
