Journey Aviation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance operations while working closely with our Maintenance Controllers. Please note this is an office job; you won't be working hands-on with the airplanes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing maintenance activities for Journey Aviation’s fleet of aircraft
- Help develop and maintain maintenance schedules to ensure timely task completion
- Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of parts and equipment
- Support compliance efforts with FAA regulations and company maintenance policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled at a aviation field of study (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Interest in aviation and aircraft maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and data tracking tools is a plus
