Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy to a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults. The Clinical Psychologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Duties
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine patients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide psychotherapy services, including cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and addiction counseling.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for various populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with disabilities.
- Work with children and families to address behavioral health issues through child & family counseling.
- Supervise interns or junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in clinical practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in research activities related to mental health practices and outcomes.
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote patient care when necessary.
- Collaborate with schools, hospitals, and community organizations to enhance patient support systems.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Experience working with children, including those with autism spectrum disorders.
- Proficiency in psychological testing and intake assessments.
- Familiarity with behavioral health interventions for PTSD care and crisis situations.
- Prior experience in inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical counseling techniques and psychotherapy modalities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and documentation purposes.
