Nurse Practitioner Wound Care

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Wound Care & Skin Grafting (Mobile)

Location: Palm Springs / Indio, CA
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide mobile wound care services in the Palm Springs and Indio area. This role includes evaluating and treating patients with acute and chronic wounds, performing advanced wound care procedures, and assisting with or performing skin grafting when appropriate. The ideal candidate has experience in wound care, strong clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to patient locations to evaluate and treat wounds
• Perform advanced wound care procedures, including debridement, biologic applications, and skin grafting (as appropriate)
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Monitor wound healing progress and modify care as needed
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and overall well-being during visits
• Complete and submit detailed progress notes within 24 hours of each visit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and referring providers

Requirements:

• Active California Nurse Practitioner license
• Experience or knowledge in wound care and skin grafting preferred
• Strong assessment, procedural, and clinical decision-making skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within Palm Springs / Indio area
• Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented
