Responsibilities

• Process high-volume, full-cycle Accounts Payable (A/P) invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely entry.
• Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents.
• Review and audit employee travel and expense (T&E) reports for compliance and accuracy.
• Prepare and process payments, including check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoice and payment status.
• Assist with vendor setup, W-9 verification, and maintenance.
• Support month-end close activities, including preparing accruals for unprocessed invoices.
• Assist with payroll data entry and verification, as well as reconciliations of payroll-related GL accounts.
• Research and resolve payroll tax notices or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with audits, purchase order reviews, and other general accounting duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required); CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Proven background in Accounts Payable, Accounting Clerk, or similar role.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.
• Experience with SAP ERP required.
• Experience with expense reporting platforms (e.g., Concur, Expensify) strongly preferred.
• Payroll accounting experience highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
