Job Title: Senior Pre-Operative Planning Representative
Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Hours/Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 pm–12:00 am (2nd Shift); overtime may be required
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent
The Senior Pre-Operative Planning Representative is a highly detail-oriented production role focused on creating accurate, high-quality pre-operative surgical plans for robotic-assisted orthopedic procedures. This position works onsite during second shift hours and supports consistent, high-volume output to meet departmental production targets.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage cases using a proprietary case management system
Review CT scans for compliance with established surgical imaging protocols
Segment CT scans using specialized software to generate 3D anatomical bone models
Develop pre-operative surgical plans for robotic-assisted total hip and knee replacements
Review segmentations and surgical plans for anatomical accuracy, implant sizing, and positioning
Upload completed pre-operative plans for use by field-based teams
Document all work activities according to defined procedures and quality standards
Follow work instructions precisely to ensure consistent and compliant output
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of work experience, or equivalent education (associate degree or higher)
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce, Materialise MIMICS, or Adobe Photoshop
Certifications or hands-on experience in Radiology (CT, X-ray, MRI)
Nursing certification or related clinical background
Completion of college-level anatomy coursework
Experience working in fast-paced, production-driven environments requiring multitasking
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented approach
