Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Sample Management Associate. Ideal candidates should have a High School Diploma with 2-4 years of experience or Bioworks certificate/Associates degree with 1-2 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks associated with maintaining current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in compliant QC and Stability laboratories.
- May perform sample receipt, disposal, and sample aliquots.
- Ensure sample chain of custody via the global laboratory information management system (gLIMS).
- May perform stability sample chambering and stability sample pulls adhering to stability protocols.
- Perform data entry and data transcription.
- Perform daily support activities related to the QC Microbiology, QC Chemistry, and QC Bioassay laboratories.
- Responsible for reporting issues to management and participating in issue resolution (such as reporting quality events and participating in associated laboratory investigations, reporting instrument/equipment issues, assisting with troubleshooting, etc.).
- Responsible for knowing, understanding, and acting in accordance with company values.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, stand for 2 to 3 hours at a time, sit for 2 to 3 hours at a time, walk long distances and bend to obtain items from lower shelving/cabinets.
- Intellectual capability to perform mathematical problems and perform data analysis.
