Job Title: Product Development Technician
Location: Elgin, IL
Work schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/hr
Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in a Chemistry related or Material
Science field from a four-year college or university with 3 years or more related
experience in the Rubber, Plastics Compounding or Coatings Industry; or
Associate’s Degree (A.A.) in Chemistry related or Material Science field with five
or more years related experience and / or extensive training in the Rubber,
Plastics Compounding or Coatings Industry; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Responsibilities
Under the guidance of scientists, prepare batches of polyamide hot melt adhesives or polyurethane adhesives; performing tests of adhesives; collecting data, analyzing and presenting to scientists. Trainings will be provided for performing these duties.
