Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Histotechnician. Ideal candidates should have a bachelors degree and experience with FFPE tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning in TMA formats.

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue fixation, processing, and embedding of biological specimens
• Section tissues using microtomy techniques to prepare high-quality slides
• Conduct routine, special staining, and IHC/IF procedures
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including whole slide scanners
• Ensure quality control and accurate documentation of laboratory procedures
• Collaborate with pathologists and research scientists to support ongoing projects
  

• Microtomy skill with experience in FFPE tissue block sectioning (skin required)
• Experience with FFPE tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning in TMA formats
• Bachelor's degree in histotechnology or a related field
• ASCP certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL), or eligibility to obtain certification
• Proficiency in microtomy, tissue processing, embedding, and staining techniques
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Exceptional attention to detail, manual dexterity, and organizational skills
• Excellent time-management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment
