Job Title: D&I / Talent Management Specialist
Location: Ewing, New Jersey
Type: Contract
Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days/week onsite)
Compensation: $40–$55 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Contract Length: 6 months (December start, with potential for full-time consideration)
This role has a primary focus on Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) with additional involvement in Talent Management (TM). The specialist will support strategic initiatives, not just execution, helping to enhance organizational culture, engagement, and inclusivity across the company.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, HR, Communications, or related field.
3–5 years of experience driving organizational change, communications, and/or employee engagement.
Demonstrated knowledge of D&I best practices, cultural competence, and relevant laws/regulations.
Strong data analytics skills: ability to build regular reporting dashboards and conduct ad-hoc analyses that generate actionable insights.
Excellent organization and project management abilities; able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
Strong interpersonal and cross-functional leadership skills.
Experience with Workday or similar HR platforms a plus.
Relevant D&I certifications a plus (e.g., DISC facilitation).
HRIS experience preferred.
Basic proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience leading Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) is a plus.
Support the implementation of a global Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging strategy alongside the D&I Director, Council, and ERGs.
Operationalize D&I Council and ERG structures, including hierarchy, position design, and meeting cadence.
Support creation, growth, and operation of ERGs, empowering members to drive meaningful change.
Stay current on D&I research and best practices within the CPG industry and apply relevant insights.
Develop and distribute internal communications for D&I initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all diversity, equity, and inclusion-related laws and regulations.
Collect, analyze, and report on talent metrics for the broader Talent Management function to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
