Job Title: Chemist

Location: Kalama, WA

Type: Contract

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 1st Shift

Compensation: $45-$47.38


Responsibilities:

• Monitor performance and upgrades with in QC, and /or QA according to company standards that are applicable to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and integration quality management systems
• Responsible for identifying and resolving quality problems and instruments
• Manages and maintains documentation of methods, changes, formulas, and testing results ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Conducts investigations for internal quality problems, including the Customer Service Tracking System, this may also include root cause analysis as well as developing, proposing, and monitoring corrective action
• Continually reviews programs and systems to develop and drive improvements in QA efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:    

• Bachelors of Science in Chemistry or related science field
• 5-10 years of Quality Control or Laboratory experience
• Knowledge of SAP
• Excellent Microsoft Offices skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Training in Six Sigma or Lean Enterprise principles
