Associate Scientist

Job Title: Associate Scientist - Mammalian Cell Culture 
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay Rate: $22-25/hour 
Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM 
Type: 6 Month Contract potential for hire

 

Overview

Biopharmaceutical Division of a Global Contract Testing & Laboratory Services company is seeking an Associate Scientist in Fremont, CA. 

Responsibilities

• Perform mammalian cell culture, including maintenance and expansion of cell lines
• Perform cell based assays as determined by client (different assays throughout the day)
• Collect and share data throughout research process – may present internally and externally

• Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in chemistry or biology
• Experience with 384 well plates (96 well plates acceptable but 384 preferred)
• Mammalian cell culture experience required
• Experience handling different cell lines (CHO, HEC, etc)
• Nice to have: flow cytometry and cell sorting
