MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
Bridging design, fabrication, and installation, this role sits at the heart of our luxury interior projects. The Project Coordinator will be instrumental in driving craftsmanship projects from concept to completion. The first year will center on drapery, with the scope later broadening to include furniture, wall upholstery, and installation projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination
- Manage and develop subcontracting partnerships for fabrication and sewing.
- Prepare project cost estimates.
- Oversee internal material procurement and ensure timely availability.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and propose process or quality improvements.
- Research and onboard new subcontractors aligned with our sustainability goals (eco-friendly materials, responsible sourcing, etc.).
DETAILED TASKS
Costing / Technical Studies
- Assist Project Managers with project cost estimates.
- Update and maintain project costing databases and pricing matrices.
- Conduct technical studies for installation and determine hardware/accessory needs.
- Manage orders for curtain rods and related hardware.
- Take measurements for both pre-sales and purchasing stages.
Subcontracting
- Maintain and update the subcontractor database.
- Plan and coordinate subcontracted work (both internal and external).
- Conduct regular visits to subcontractors before, during, and after production.
- Inspect and verify the quality of finished products.
- Source and qualify new subcontractors for future projects.
Internal Procurement
- Organize and ensure availability of all materials needed for production (supplies, linings, raw materials, small tools, etc.).
- Track purchase requests and alert stakeholders in case of delays.
- Verify and control deliveries and stock levels.
- Perform regular on-site visits as needed.

Technical & Professional Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in project management or production management preferred
- Strong project management and cost estimation skills.

- Good understanding of subcontractor relationships and production workflows.
- Genuine interest in window decoration, furniture design &/or interior design
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
- Backgrounds in or related to Interior design, Architecture, Industrial design and/or Procurement are a plus.
