YOU WILL:
- Lead Total Rewards Strategy and Execution. Design and manage Jostens’ compensation and benefits programs to align with company goals, financial targets, and market trends—ensuring cost efficiency, competitiveness, and employee satisfaction.
- Oversee Compensation Design and Operations. Lead the full compensation lifecycle including job evaluations, salary structures, market analyses, survey participation, performance management, merit reviews, and incentive programs for both employees and independent sales force.
- Manage Benefits Programs and Compliance. Administer health and welfare plans, oversee open enrollment and vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, and other relevant laws.
- Provide Strategic Consulting and Cross-Functional Support. Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to deliver technical guidance on compensation and benefits matters and provide consultative support on job design, salary planning, and workforce strategies.
- Oversee Governance and Vendor Management. Ensure accurate documentation, audit readiness, and contract negotiations for all vendors and third-party service providers while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
- Lead and Develop a Team. Manage and mentor three direct reports, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Typical/expected % of overnight travel:
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Experience. 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits, including at least 3 years managing salary and incentive programs and 3 years managing health and welfare benefits programs.
- Technical Expertise. Knowledge of compensation and benefits strategies, federal and state regulations, and executive compensation. Experience providing guidance to HR and business leaders.
- Systems and Tools Proficiency. Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Must have experience with ADP.
- Analytical and Communication Skills. Highly detail-oriented with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Articulate communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Professionalism and Confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information discreetly, with a strong sense of accountability and ethics.
- HIPAA Compliance Awareness. Must observe all HIPAA requirements related to protected health information.

- We believe in pay transparency. The salary range is $170,000 to $180,000 with 30% annual bonus eligibility.
