Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Chemical Line Operator at Jost Chemical, located in St. Louis, MO. The role involves operating and monitoring chemical production equipment, ensuring adherence to quality control measures throughout manufacturing processes, and conducting routine maintenance. Additional responsibilities include assisting with troubleshooting equipment issues, collaborating with team members, maintaining accurate production records, and adhering to workplace safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Operation, including managing and monitoring chemical production machinery
- Experience with Quality Control to ensure compliance with established industry standards
- Strong Communication and Training skills to collaborate effectively and assist in onboarding processes
- Basic Computer Literacy for maintaining accurate production records and operating manual or automated systems
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus
- High school diploma or GED is required; additional technical training or certifications in manufacturing are advantageous
