Background

• Works under direct supervision of the Packaging Manager in a GMP regulated manufacturing environment operating under Q7A standards.

Tasks

• Manage receiving packaging materials.
  • Receive Stock and non-Stock items.
• Identify and label Hazardous Materials
• Check-weigh finished goods containers and pallets.
  • Troubleshoot any discrepancies.
  • Record weights
• Load finished goods onto trailers
• Execute material movements in ERP
• Print ERP labels.
• Troubleshoot Labeling issues finished goods.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments.
• Safely drive a fork truck. Maintain training for fork truck.
• Assist Material Handlers with material movements.
• Assist Crew Lead with any other department tasks
• Verify scale calibration
• Open Work Orders for any Warehouse equipment

Specifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of:
  • Mathematics and English comprehension (Basic level)
  • Raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods (Basic level)
  • Safety, health and environmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures
• Skill in:
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure efficient execution of inventory management activities
  • Operation control and monitoring
• Ability to:
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization in inventory management practices
  • Adapt to changing priorities and business requirements in a dynamic environment, adjusting inventory management strategies as needed.
  • Work in extreme cold and hot (120 F) environment
  • Comprehend oral and written English instruction
  • Lift 55 pounds; competency in operation and safety standards of forklifts, fork trucks, and dock equipment operations
  • Present on issues, trends, and similar events with clear and concise language
