As a Sales Support Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for domestic customers, ensuring smooth coordination across sales, production, and logistics while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities✅ Customer & Sales Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for domestic customers, managing communication, order processing, and issue resolution
  • Conduct customer calls, surveys, and manage repeat orders to ensure high satisfaction
  • Identify new sales opportunities through customer inquiries and follow up with pricing and product information
✅ Operations & Coordination
  • Coordinate between sales, manufacturing, and production teams to support order fulfillment
  • Manage invoicing, shipment documentation, and warehouse coordination for domestic locations
  • Maintain accurate data across CRM and internal systems
✅ Logistics & Freight Management
  • Assist customers with freight planning and coordination
  • Obtain freight bids, prepare quotes, and manage bills of lading
  • Track and audit freight costs, duties, and delivery expenses
✅ Process Improvement & Administration
  • Support process improvements and implementation of technological solutions to increase efficiency
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information such as pricing and customer data
  • Participate in departmental planning and cross-functional collaboration initiatives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; science-related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience with major chemical industry accounts
  • Ability to travel internationally (including Europe) as needed

Key Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Knowledge of chemical or scientific terminology (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with limited supervision
