Job Summary
Under administrative direction, the PMHNP supervisor supervises Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners; develops, implements, and oversees clinical nursing program and performs related work as required. The PMHNP supervisor will be responsible to work with patients to improve adherence to provider treatment plans by addressing underlying behavioral concerns and facilitating changes for better management of medical conditions.
Essential Responsibilities And Metrics

The PMHNP supervisor will be responsible to work with patients to improve adherence to provider treatment plans by addressing underlying behavioral concerns and facilitating changes for better management of medical conditions.
Essential Responsibilities And Metrics
- Conduct performance evaluation reviews
- Complete chart reviews with the medical director
- Provide medication refill coverage for supervisees
- Provide direct supervision to psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners
- Provide training and oversee productivity expectations for all psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners
- Maintain 70% direct service productivity of expected clinical hours
- Coordinate university APRN practicum partnerships
- Facilitate monthly APRN meetings
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health; board certification as a PMHNP required with current license, Federal and State licenses to prescribe controlled substances/DEA #
- Minimum of 5 years experience in behavioral health
Salary : $165,000 - $200,000
